Withdrawal Procedure

Candidates who have accepted the offers and submitted the original GATE score card along with a DD of Rs. 10,000/- towards per-registration fee, may note the following.

Admission Letters will be sent by 20 June 2013 for those who have accepted without any upgradation against First and Second lists.

The date of Registration is : 15 July 2013

Withdrawal can be done at any time up to 14th July 2013 at GATE Office, IIT Kharagpur. For this one has to fill a form that is available below and send by FAX to GATE Office, IIT Kharagpur. The original GATE Score Card will be sent as soon as the withdrawal form is received. Rs. 1000/- will be deducted and the remaining amount of Rs. 9000/- will be returned in the month of August 2013.

Any withdrawals after 15 July 2013 (i.e., after registration) will be processed by Academic Section (PGS&R). GATE Office is not responsible for withdrawals after this stage.
